TSI Summer Testing
Pending proctor and room availability, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Walk-ins are Welcome for the TSI Test (in-person) this summer. AISD is closed on Fridays during the summer. AISD and Akins ECHS are also closed the week of June 28 - July 7,

Eagle Time Starts Week of Mon. 9/9
During Eagle Time, from 10:35-11:10, students are given 30 minutes to work with their advisory teachers. During this time, students are allowed to go to tutorials, participate in clubs and organizations, and do makeup assignments.

PTSA Meetings (First Meeting is Wed. 9/4)
The Akins PTSA provides and distributes resources to our students, teachers, and staff and reinforces the bonds between our school and the surrounding community. Meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month from 5:30 - 6:30 PM.
Akins ECHS Campus Closed (Fri. 6/28 - Sun. 7/7)
Austin ISD Campuses are closed during the July 4th Holiday Week for the Summer Break starting Friday 6/28 - Sunday 7/7. Have a great summer, everyone.

Library Staff Book Club
Our staff book club meets each Monday. Our next meeting will be on April 15. We are currently reading If We Were Villains.
Battle of the Books
Our Akins Library Student Book club competed in the Battle of the Books at Ann Richards High School on March 22. Our students did amazing and we can't wait to go back next year!
