To provide a Softball Culture that promotes fairness and opportunity for each participant. To build respectful, academically superior, dedicated, hardworking athletes to be role models for all of Akins High School.

Program Philosophy

Player Development: Focusing on doing the right thing. Well Done > Well Said.

My goal as a coach is to help mold young women into all around student-athletes. This is not only focusing on softball skills, but also on the classroom and real world situations. Academics, time management, responsibility, and discipline are all extremely important characteristics of student-athletes. I want to help guide my players to become young professionals by teaching them how to excel in the classroom as well as on the field.

During the season, athletes and coaches spend as much time with each other as they do with their own families. I want my program to feel like a second family. I want to offer a place where my student-athletes feel comfortable, safe, and are able to be themselves. Student-athletes will have a support system from my coaching staff both on and off the field. If we can stick together as a unit within the program, we can come together and take on any opponent and be successful.
 

Lady Eagle Booster Club - Parents!

The Lady Eagle Booster Club meets once a month (usually the 3rd Thursday of the month) to discuss important dates and events for the Eagle Softball Team.
