The Akins Arts and Humanities Academy presents opportunities for students to express their creative intelligence through the visual and performing arts. We house the Fine Arts including Dance, Band, Mariachi, Guitar, Orchestra, Film, Art, Choir, and Theatre.
AHA also encourages civil participation and social consciousness in its Global Studies and LOTE Majors. In the Global Studies career pathway, students focus on the humanities and social students, culminating in a senior year internship with The City of Austin.
