Parent Teacher Conferences Mon. 10/20
Come meet with all of your students' teachers. Administrators & Counselors may also be available. Please bring your students. No appointment is needed. Spanish Interpreters will be available*. Monday, October 20th, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (closed for lunch 12 - 1 PM)*.
CAC & PTSA Meetings - First Wednesdays! @ 5:30 PM & 6:30 PM
CAC Meetings will be held afterwards, starting at 5:30 PM. PTSA Meetings will usually be held on the first Wednesday of the month from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Click on the link above for Agenda & Details. CAC: Meetings are from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Homework Haven & Tutorials
Homework Haven for Spring 2026 begins on 1/12/2026. Students who need extra tutoring for their courses may join the Homework Haven teachers in the library (Mondays - Thursdays only). Please arrive on time. Late students will not be permitted entry.

Electronic Device Use on Texas Public Schools - (Texas HB 1481)
No Personal Devices are allowed on all Texas public school properties from "bell to bell." For Akins ECHS, that is from 9:05 AM - 4:35 PM. Please see below for consequences and disciplinary action for non-compliance.
