Friday, May 22nd! 

The Cinco de Mayo show scheduled for tomorrow, May 1st, has been postponed until further notice due to technical issues in the Akins Theatre. Please hold on to your tickets, as they will remain valid for the rescheduled date.

We will share the new date as soon as arrangements are finalized. We apologize for the inconvenience and the short notice.

Yes, $5.00 dollars tickets will still be available at the door! 

Please come join us for an unforgettable evening filled with culture, music, dance, student talent, and community celebration. Our students and teachers have been working incredibly hard to showcase the amazing artistic spirit and cultural pride of Akins ECHS.

We are thrilled to invite you to the annual Akins Cinco de Mayo Show, a night dedicated to honoring heritage, amplifying student voices, and strengthening the bond between our school and the South Austin community.

Ticket Information

Tickets will officially go on sale starting Monday, April 20th. Please note that all ticket sales are non-refundable. You can secure your seat through the following:

• Ms. Gina Garcia (Portable 318) and Latinos Unidos member

• Ms. Fernanda Sillero Guzman (portable 310) Akins Ballet Folklórico members

• Ms. Susana Díaz López at 108 and or Akins Mariachi members.
