The best shot at getting a scholarship is to GO LOCAL!!!

Austin ISD has its own LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP DATABASE. Each AISD student has the ability to login to their Naviance account and access it!

Here's how:

  1. Log into Naviance

  2. Click on the "Colleges" Tab

  3. Scroll to the bottom to find "Scholarships and Money"

Pointers and Tips

  • Most scholarships come from the colleges and universities themselves. Your best chance at getting a scholarship will come from making certain you've completed the process for applying for scholarships and what the university requires.
  • Outside scholarships are plentiful! There truly is a scholarship for just about anything you can imagine. I have created a scholarship list for graduating seniors (listed above). Don't be afraid to search for more scholarships as well!!!
  • Fun Fact: on average, for every 1 outside scholarship you might be awarded (money coming from somewhere other than the college, university, or government) you will need to apply to about 15...yes - about 15.
