For those interested in joining the sports medicine student team, we will have three interview sessions; at the end of the school year, the beginning of the fall, and the beginning of the spring semester. Come into the athletic training room to sign up!

Athletic Training students gain experience in the medical field, learning how to treat primarily musculoskeletal injuries through the course of the season. Students assist with wound care, learn rehabilitation techniques, and gain insight on emergency/primary care of sports injuries.

Athletic training students are expected to maintain grades consistent with UIL requirements. Students will be expected to travel to games and attend practices in order to be a part of this program.
