Summer 2026 has begun! See below for dates & details for some summer programs & hours*. AISD campuses are closed on Fridays in the summer. AISD is completely closed Friday June 26 - Sun. July 5.

Ms. Carman De Leon made principal of Akins ECHS

We are delighted to officially announce the appointment of Ms. Carman De Leon as the permanent principal of Akins ECHS, effective April 21, 2026. A Meet and Greet is on Tuesday, May 05, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

Visitors to Campus: Please enter through Main Entrance.

Akins ECHS has a new entrance vestibule. ALL Visitors must check in & go through three sets of doors. The Front Office is Open from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Mondays - Thursdays) during June and July. Thank you.

Diplomas Pick Up during the Summer! Starts on June 22nd. Monday - Thursday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm during June & July.

TSI Summer Testing

Walk-ins are Welcome for the TSI Test & review this summer. See the dates below. Graduates (Class of 2026) are encouraged to take the TSI at any ACC campus.
