Dear W. Charles Akins Early College High School Community. It is with great pride and excitement that I am able to reintroduce myself as the Interim Principal of W. Charles Akins Early College High School.

NEW Student Registration - Wednesdays in July (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

2025-2026 New Student Registration will be each Wednesday in July. Due to construction, the main entrance is closed.

TSI Testing During Summer Begins on Mon. June 9

Starting Monday, June 9th, in Computer Lab 149. Current Students (grades 9 - 11 for the 2025-2026 school year) must attend a review session before testing. AISD campuses are closed on Fridays in the summer, closed on June 19th, and closed during the week of June 27 - July 6.

Course Selection for 2025-2026 School Year

It is already time to begin selecting classes for next school year! Students, think about which electives you are interested. Also, consider if you would like to take the on-level core classes or one of the advanced options that we offer.
