Welcome back, Eagles! It is almost time to start the 2025-2026 School Year. Classes begin on Tuesday, August 19th. It will be a "B Day." Students will report to their 5th period (Semester 1 / "S1") on their schedules. Students, please check "S1" on your schedules during the first day. Students will be able to access a copy of their schedule on the first day and will be informed of where to go. Counselors will be available during Enrollment/Registration.
-- Wednesday, August 20th, is an "A Day." Students will report to their 1st period classes.
-- ONLY students are permitted in the cafeteria and inside campus buildings.
-- Thank you for your patience as schedules are still being finalized. If there are any "blanks" on the schedule on the first day of school, please see a counselor in the library. For all other reasons (including schedule changes), please remain in your classes during the first week.
-- As it is now, State of Texas Law, students are not permitted to use personal devices on public school campuses. For further details, visit "AISD Device Policy."
-- 9th-grade (and all NEW) students will be informed about when they'll receive a district Chromebook device during the first few days of school. Thank you for your patience.
-- New Photo IDs and yearbook photo information (including Senior Portraits) and dates are coming soon. Per tradition, students receive Photo IDs during the first few weeks of school. Also, Yearbook photos and Senior Portraits usually begin in September.
-- Akins ECHS is under construction. The main entrance will OPEN on Wed. 8/20. Please see the "Temporary Entrance" Map for details. Thank you for your patience.
