As part of the 2026-27 budget approved by the Board of Trustees last week, AISD will be implementing adjustments to transportation services starting in August. We know these adjustments will require our families to modify morning and afternoon routines, and we recognize the stress and anxiety this causes. Visit the website below to help students plan ahead:

26-27 Schedule Correction Request Form
If you submit a request, please check your student email daily for a response from your counselor. You must follow your original schedule until you receive confirmation that your schedule has been corrected. Absences will not be cleared for students who miss a class while waiting for their schedule to be changed.
Students NEW to Akins ECHS may visit Akins on Friday, August 7 during our Eagle Camp
Times: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Come visit during either session. No formal meetings will occur on this day. There will be a future "Open House/Meet the Teacher" day once the Academic year begins.

Senior Parking Spots
Seniors! It’s time to reserve and personalize your parking spot for the 2026–2027 school year!
The Class of 2027 Senior Parking Program is now accepting registrations and payments through the Akins PTSA. Show your school spirit, support Student Council activities, and claim your custom spot for senior year.
Important: To be eligible to participate, all seniors MUST complete the official online registration form and submit their design sketch by Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

- Total Cost: $100 ($75 spot fee + $25 refundable deposit via Akins PTSA)
- Payment Deadline: Tuesday, September 1, 2026
- Mandatory Registration Form & Design Submission Deadline: Wednesday, September 2, 2026
- Spot Selection & Paint Day 1: Monday, September 7, 2026 (7:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
