Requirements
- Seniors must be cleared on the Senior Check Out Form.
- No ALC during the school year, 2025-2026*
- No discipline referrals for fighting or drug/alcohol related offenses (other referrals will be considered on a case by case basis)*
- Must be cohort 2026 and classified as a senior according to official transcript.
- Must pass 6 out of 8 classes for the 3rd 9-week grading period.
- Must have 90% attendance in all classes for the 2025- 2026 (below 90% must be approved by administrators).
- Any Akins junior who is attending as a guest must be in good standing based on academics, attendance, and discipline; they will need to receive permission from their academy assistant principal at least one week prior to prom.
Non-Akins student Permission & Forms:
- To bring a non-Akins student, you must have permission.
- Please submit the Prom Visitor Application to your Academy Administrator. a week prior to Prom. AGE LIMIT IS 21 YEARS.
- All students and guests must bring a valid photo ID to prom.
